Our History

The founder of World Tamil Music University has been on a Mission to bring out the Tamil Isai in the chaste form as he learned it since the 1970s and having spent several years researching on the various transformations and various genres within Tamil Isai.

The core form of Tamil Isai is Pannisai, which has evolved to one of the most complex music systems in the world as it is popularly known to the world as Carnatic music.

Our university is formed based on the knowledge from the past and to provide a fully researched and clean form of music to remain as the authority to certify Tamil Isai across the globe.​
